We are two college students who share a passion for everything oyster! All of our products are crafted from oysters handpicked along the beautiful shores of Charleston, SC. Each oyster carries its own unique essence of the Lowcountry, and we cherish the opportunity to turn these natural treasures into functional home decor.

Our love for the beach and its vibrant marine life is the heart of this business. As we spent more time by the water, we became passionate about how oysters play such a critical role in preserving our ecosystems — filtering water and maintaining the balance of our shores. We were disheartened to hear that these incredible oysters were being discarded to the wrong place from most restaurants. That’s when we decided to start The Lucky Shuck.

What started in December 2023 as a few Christmas gifts and crafts soon turned into something much bigger — taking over our entire house! Between school, family, and oysters, there was no stopping us. Now we’re here, handcrafting each piece with great care and turning our love for oysters into a business that’s as fun as it is fulfilling.
